Really? This makes me sad, because I blame Rush in large part for putting Obama in the Whitehouse. No one worked harder to make sure McCain lost than Rush. No one attacked McCain more viciously than Rush. And not because Obama was the better candidate, obviously. Even as McCain leads the charge against Obamacare, Rush would rather lose this fight also than get behind McCain's efforts. Rush continues to sacrifice our rights and Constitution (for his party at best, and for his petty vengeance against McCain at worst). Rush might be happy with the usurper in our White House since it kept McCain out, but I'm sure not.

And Rush, like so many other cowards in the conservative base, refuses to even touch the eligibility issue: blood and dirt. Forget the birth certificate and where Obama was born (dirt), Obama's father was never a citizen of the USA, didn't want to be a citizen, never intended to be a citizen, and never tried to be a citizen (blood). Obama is not a natural born citizen, never was and never will be. Rush knows the Constitution and knows this, but has refused to go there and makes damn sure none of his callers do either.

There are better options, and one in particular comes to mind: Sarah, who has made the tough calls, put herself in the forefront of the fight, taken the hits, and turned Facebook into a political platform for all that's good and right. Sarah gives me not just hope, but courage also... Rush is stuck on stupid.

A good arguement for the case made. I seldom listen to Rush anymore. Though he was the backbone when Clinton became president.

As an independent I feel that Michael Savage is good representative of conservatism without being a parrot of the RNC. Without splitting hairs: Rush has more visibility.

I don't know of anyone who was eager to vote for McCain. I know people, far too many, who are fed up with the game of Washington Two Card Monty.

My stance on the Demicans and Republicrats is simple: if they do not represent my views they just won't get my votes anymore. That said, the Liberal Democrats are as close to being out and out Stalinists as this nation will ever see. I won't ever vote for a Mike or a Rudy (NY-mayors).

For a mantra of hope and change there is an insidious and despicable game of closed doors ram em and jam em politics being played on this country. For the strident claims of new tone there should be nothing but shame in Washington DC. Nearly every elected official deserves to lose their seat and benefits from being in public office in my opinion.

The question going forward is whether or not the other conservatives will articulate their points of view well enough to make people believe again. Liberals will follow what they hope but a conservative needs consistency and actions to believe in. We have seen far too little from them.

Former President Bush was a social liberal and helped pave this anger under those that grudgingly voted for him 'over the other choices.' The media played a significant role in exploiting this social liberalism while covering up the man that is Obama.
