Obama: Cut Budget $100 Million in 90 days?

Who is the President kidding? Barack Obama has asked his Cabinet to achieve the impossible apparently…have Democrats cut the budget deficit by $100 million in 90 days. Um….
I could cut the budget $100 million in 90 minutes. To make this a goal is absurd beyond belief.
Think of this way. With our record budget defiticit of $3.6 Trillion, we are spending $1 million a minute in new debt.
Let us look at it another way. If we cut $100 million out of the budget every 90 days, and don’t increase our budget deficit any more (a false assumption, but whatever), it will take us 1,200,000, or approximately 3,288 years to pay of our national debt. Or, this is only 1/2 of the proposed AIG bonuses that Congress got so excited about last month. And the Democrats and the media still are wondering why people protested and were so upset on Tax Day.

This is an insult to the intelligence of fiscal conservatives. If Obama wanted to demonstrate some fiscal responsibility, he could enforce the George Bush executive order instructing federal agencies to ignore pork line items in their budgets. Better yet, he could have honored his campaign promise by vetoing the pork-filled omnibus spending bill, let alone refrained from leaping into the discredited statist spending policies that have been the hallmark of his administration thus far.
The media is of course showing this as an example of Obama’s great leadership. CNN, MSNBC, New York Times…all extolling the immense signal that Obama is sending by cutting the budget. The Huffington Post, in their usual idiocy, has it as its headline, extolling Obama for his absolute brilliance. I guess they missed the $3.6 trillion signal he sent last month in the other direction. As usual, liberals don’t care about results, only intent…as long as you intend to do good, who cares if you accompish anything?

Just in is that President Obama is giving everybody the ultimatum to cut $100 million dollars in 90 days to show that the government is being fiscally responsible. In return he is asking for a $3.67 trillion dollar budget.
Hmmm, what percentage is 100 million of 3.67 trillion? Anybody remember their scientific notation, the percent is so small you need a microscope to see it. He will save us 2.7247956403269754768392370572207e-3%
If I remember my math here, this should be .00275% LOL, for those who did great at English and could spell stuff good, but stunk in math, let me break it down, it’s not 1%, it’s not one tenth of a percent, it’s not even one hundredth of a percent, it is rounded off at three thousandths of a percent. Or better yet if you saved a quarter in the next ninety days, your boss should give you…. drum roll please….. $10,000. I’d save a quarter by purchasing a cheaper lunch if you gave ten grand to do it.
Ohhhh, wait, we already gave him how many trillions already this year beyond the budget? Chaching, penny saved is a penny earned my ass.
So now for those that still stand behind their vote, not only does he not have executive experience, apparently he can’t do math to well either. Either that or he thinks we’re all mindless idiots. After all, we did vote him in.
Obama is counting on our public school indoctrination. After all, it’s really hard to think.
