$540 for those ugly shoes?

What would the media outrage be, if Laura Bush had worn $500 Lanvin sneakers to help feed the poor?

Again, I don’t care that Michelle Obama bought $500 shoes…if you can afford it, bully for you.  I mean, it defines her as the elitist that the Obamas are, but is not important in any other sense.

Of course they say that she is beloved, but yet, her poll numbers are lower than Laura Bush.  How beloved could she be?

What bothers me is the obvious and pathetic hypocrisy among the left wing media.  Try to find the story online on any of the major news networks or newspapers…you won’t hear a single peep.  When John McCain wore a pair of $500 loafers to a debate…it was front page material on the New York Times.
