Will The Democrats Ever Worry About Corruption?
![]()
The stories about John Murtha have been around for decades. But with new stories popping up weekly, you wonder why the Democratic leadership is not stepping in.
The most recent story is that Murtha’s nephew received $4 million in Pentagon contracts, directly from a bill that Murtha himself took part in writing. And to compound the matter, these were awarded as no bid contracts; which in liberal circles is a no-no (remeber Halliburton?)
Now, my problem is not that politicians are corrupt, per se. The Republicans had more than their share of corrupt politicians over the past decade. No, my problem is the way the Democratic leadership is protecting the likes of Murtha and others. It is bad enough to protect your own party members for political reasons, especially if their is only slim minorities in Congress. But the Democrats own Washington right now, and all the balls are in their court. If they can’t confront ethics violations when they are in no risk of losing power, exactly when are we to expect them to act in a moral way?
Democrats, especially Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, should be embarrassed about their lack of action on corruption charges. It goes to the heart of the disingenuous the Democrat Party is on the issue.

DEMS WILL NOT WORRY ABOUT CORRUPTION PERIOD. THE ONLY WAY IT CAN BE HANDLED IS FOR AMERICANS TO FORM A PANEL FOR CONGRESSIONAL CORRUPTION. THIS CANNOT BE IN ACCORDENCE WITH CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL, ONLY BY AMERICANS AT VOTING BOOTHS. SUPERIOR COURT IN CLOSED DOOR SESSION WILL DESIGNATE 9 JUDGES TO BE NAMED AND TO BE KEPT SECRET TO ALL.
