Obama To Stop Pakistani Drone Attacks?

One of the few successes in recent years against Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan was the Predator drone attacks.
Well, apparently Mr. Obama doesn’t think success is enough.
The White House is considering stopping the drone attacks, largely because of its supposed relationship with the instability with Pakistan.
What a farce.
Pakistan is unsatable because the government there has no control over its own territory. It cannot control Swat and the western territories. It has allowed extremists in the West set up Islamic enclaves that are ungovernable, and even attempted the now ill fated peace deal with the Taliban.
What it sounds like is that the collateral damage of civilians on these drone attacks is starting to be too much for the Obama Administration. Insiders believed that they might be able to force the Taliban to make concessions if they heightened the attacks after the inauguration. That policy has failed, because ultimately drone attacks will not solve the problem alone.
The real problem is that the Obama Administration is facing the same, tough challenge the Bush Administration did in the AFPAK region…and is failing accordingly.
Pakistan is such a backwards country. This is what happens when the only education available is a religious education. If you can call it that. It is more like a brainwashing with religious overtones. Memorizing the Koran has little redeeming value other than say I did it. The problem is that Muslemism is incompatible with the rest of the world. Hell, they are not compatible with themselves. Obama is a fool for trying to stop the only real weapon that can be used against these cave men with turbans and beards.
