Air Force One Flyover Has First Casualty…

Louis Caldera, the director of the White House Military Office responsible for the controversial low-altitude flyover of New York by a 747 plane used as Air Force One, resigned on Friday. And the full White House gobbledygook report can be read here.

My only question: Who the heck authorized spending $328,835 for that picture? And, what about the chase plane? Or for that matter, the screaming people on the ground? I am sure you can see them from this height. For $300 grand at least we could have gotten a few pictures, don’t you think? Not to mention, I could have photoshopped that in about 5 minutes. Your tax dollars at work.
