Amazingly, months after I and other clearly showed President Obama’s misuse of straw man arguments, the New York Times picked up on it finally today.

Well, today the New York Times made this huge discovery.  Incredible; just goes to show how far liberals are behind on the reality of the world.

What proceded was even funnier.  Karl Rove has actually been keeping a list of Obama ‘Straw Men’, that can be seen here.  That apparently enfuriated Jake Tapper of ABC News, who then accused President Bush of using straw men as well.  A twitter fight then ensued…I have never seen something so ridiculous.   Tapper’s main argument is that Rove didn’t call Bush out on this during his presidency.  Even if Tapper is right…shouldn’t that mean he should ask Rahm Emanuel or David Axelrod to publically state their disgust at the president’s use of such fallacious debate tactics?  Yeah, don’t hold your breath.

I agree that Bush used Straw Men; every politician does.  The difference is the media readily called out President Bush of use of such tactics; it has taken that same mainstream media over 120 days to do the same for Obama.  Tapper may be right on the facts, but he clearly misses the obvious point:  the media is still lost on its coverage of Barack Obama.
