Obama Wanted To Eliminate Private Insurance
This will not help his arguments one bit. Obama, in this clearly states, that he wants a single payer.

Wonder if anyone in the media is brave enough to ask what he meant? Doubt it.
This comes with improving poll numbers. No, not for Mr. Obama, or Democrats…but for the American Health care system! That horrible system, which Obama, Pelosi, and others have been calling villains and evil and second rate? Well, the public doesn’t agree.
Forty-eight percent (48%) of U.S. voters now rate the U.S. health care system as good or excellent. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that just 19% rate it as poor.
These figures reflect a significant increase in support for the health care system over the past few months. In May, just 35% of adults nationwide rated the system as good or excellent. A year ago, just 29% of Likely Voters rated the system in such positive terms.
The new polling also shows that 80% of those with insurance rate their own coverage as good or excellent. That’s up from 70% in May.
Eighty-nine percent of Republicans think the health care they receive now is good or excellent and 69% of independents agree — as do 66% of Democrats. When asked to rate the overall system rather than just their own care, all of the three give lower favorable ratings, but both Republicans and independents have majorities rating it as good or excellent. Even though two-thirds of Democrats rate their own care as good or excellent, 71% of Democrats want to change the system, which hints that quality of care may not be their primary motivation.
This goes to the heart of the problem…most Americans are happy with their health care. They want guarantees that they won’t lose it, and that costs are controlled, to be sure. But they don’t want drastic changes in how they receive their care, and the freedoms in medical choice they enjoy today.
There is no doubt that expenses have risen along with the costs of health insurance. However, this is also true for Auto insurance. All they need ot do is make it mandatory and with no choice but to have insurance it will get more expensive.
Our system is far from perfect in many respects but we have choices and quality care. Considering the ability to ruin anything they touch and the further ability to construct systems such as Social Security that are not sustainable (which also they refuse to fix) it is very logical that most people in this nation would fear what would come of reform under this cast of characters.
I support Obama’s health care plan, I fall into the lower income and i cannot afford health insurance for myself but I make too much money to get the health insurance from the Michigan state government.
I think that the health care plan will help some of the people of the lower income. My sister has two children and her and her husband cannot get health insurance for them because they can not afford it and again make too much money for the michigan state health requirements.
I would ask you to have a look at the Massaschusetts plan, which is very similar to Obamacare. The group that dislikes it mosts…are low income people
Listen up people and pay attention to what’s going on for health care as presented by obama is just another step toward socialism and if he and his party keeep going like they are and we keep letting them our country will cease to exist as a democratic country. This country as a whole needs to speak up and stop this from happening and as you’ve seen lately we who have been hoping for a unbiased and unprejudicial president no now that this is not the case. I say right now that any politician that approves the health care bill I will definitely not be voting for next election and not our racist president if he should decide to run again. I’m totally horrified at what this country has let happen to it’s people and keep making things worse day by day. please help stop this madness and be heard for we should stand together as a whole and let these smooth talkers know that we can not be snowed. please write and let your congress know of our strong disapproval of the obama administration.
